The Momentum Group has appointed Dan Lewis as Construction Director to lead their Build division.

Dan was previously construction director at Manchester’s Medlock where he worked for nine years, during which time he was also project director for Medlock’s offshoot, Truman Design and Build in Bolton. He started his career at Galliford Try in Warrington where he also studied for a Construction Project Management degree at the University of Central Lancashire.

Projects that Dan has led on include the multi-million-pound refurbishment of the historic Hydro Hotel in Bowness on Windemere (now The Ro) and Blackpool’s chic new Boulevard Hotel under The Big One rollercoaster at the town’s Pleasure Beach.

Chris Renshaw, co-founder and director of The Momentum Group, said: “Adding Dan to our burgeoning Build team is a real coup for us. He is young, ambitious and talented and already boasts a wealth of experience in delivering high profile construction projects. We are growing rapidly and we need experienced leaders like Dan Lewis to help take us to the next level.”

Dan, who took up his new role in January and leads a team of 15, said: “The Momentum Group is a dynamic set of companies with a desire to make a difference in the communities it operates and this fits very much with my own approach and ambition.

“In a short time, Momentum have quickly been making their mark and to be joining at a time when they are increasingly identifying and winning a diverse mix of national opportunities is very exciting.”
