Momentum Group bags shopping centre facilities management contract

The Momentum Group has extended its portfolio after being awarded the contract to maintain and manage the facilities of a North West shopping centre.

The leading full service property services group has worked with Runcorn Shopping City for a number of years and now The Momentum Group’s facilities management business has been awarded a three year Mechanical & Electrical maintenance contract to ensure the building is running safely, efficiently and is compliant.

Momentum FM Ltd will be responsible for many of the planned and reactive works that occur within the shopping centre attending each week to carry out multiple activities across the centre.

Runcorn Shopping City in the heart of the town opened in 1972 and currently welcomes more than 70,000 visitors per week. The centre is home to a number of well-known retail names and smaller independents while also offering a number of community services such as an NHS Outpatient Service, one of the first in the UK to do so.

Dave Pearman, centre manager, said: “We are delighted to appoint Momentum FM Ltd as our preferred contractor. We share collective values in keeping buildings well maintained, safe and compliant through proactive and reactive maintenance.
